For my new idea, I'm doing a 30-45 second loop music video for the band "Awfbeat". Starting off with live action and then transitioning to 2D animation, this concept will be very similar to my second idea posted on my first blog. Since my friends are the ones that sing for and created "Awfbeat", they are making me a custom loop that i will get today and then animated for, and they'll use to promote their new mixtape.
1) Nike commercial/ad: The logo will the be the main focus/center piece, as it appears on different objects that athletes are using or wearing. There will be transitions from one sport to another, and lots of visual changes and metamorphosis to keep the viewers engaged. This project would probably be shorter in length (about 20-30 seconds) because I would focus more on the details and fluidity of the animation rather than a storyline. 2) A person at a concert: This project would revolve around an individual at a concert, who takes a drug and goes through a "trip" with psychedelic effects. He watches the singer morph and shape into different objects and the setting around him is greatly altered. Slowly the effects subdue and he comes back to a normal state. The music would be the main focus of this animation, kind of like a music video.
